What is the R2Gate system from MegaGen

The R2Gate system is a complex of software and surgical kits created by the MegaGen team of doctors for convenient planning, surgical templates, and placement of implants with the smallest deviation from the planned position

Stages of creating a surgical template

1. CBCT study (saving in multi-frame Dicom format)
2. Taking an impression – making a plaster model – scanning it (receiving an STL scan)/or scanning with an intraoral scanner (receiving an STL scan at the patient’s chair)
3. Combining Dicom and STL data in the R2GATE program
4. Virtual simulation of prosthetics (R2Gate or an external program)
5. Virtual implantation planning
6. Virtual design of a surgical template
7. Print the template on a 3d printer (it is recommended to use the medical printer Ray)
